CRS medical provides 34 AEDs to its home town of Aßlar
CRS medical successfully won the tender and is equipping its home town of Aßlar and the surrounding districts with a total of 34 automated external defibrillators (AEDs). The initiative represents an important contribution to improving cardiac safety in the community.
The AEDs will be installed at municipal properties, making them quickly accessible in an emergency. ‘As a company based in Aßlar, it is a matter close to our hearts to actively support our home town and make a contribution to the safety of its citizens,’ explains Michael Schlapp, Managing Director of CRS medical. With this commitment, the company is not only underlining its technical expertise in the field of medical technology, but also its strong ties to the region.
The AEDs provided can save lives in the event of sudden cardiac arrest and significantly increase the chances of survival. Their strategic placement in high-traffic locations enables rapid first aid to be administered even before the emergency services arrive. The devices are expressly designed for use by non-professionals.
The mayor of Aßlar, Christian Schwarz, personally received the first AEDs from CRS medical in a symbolic ceremony. CRS medical will deliver the remaining devices to municipal properties and provide training on the devices and their most important functions in the coming weeks.
The town of Aßlar sees the purchase of the AEDs as a strong sign of responsibility, care and community spirit. Mayor Christian Schwarz explains: ‘By purchasing the AEDs, we are creating greater safety for our citizens in our community. Of course, we hope that the devices will never have to be used – but in an emergency, they can save lives. We are very grateful for that.’
