CRS medical presents the CRS ResQ emergency backpack to the HBRS
The Hessian Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association e.V. (HBRS) once again hosted the HBRS Indoor Cup Football ID on January 21, 2023, in which a total of seven clubs from Hesse took part this year. As part of the tournament, CRS medical was on site in Münchholzhausen to present the HBRS with the new CRS ResQ emergency backpack.
The HBRS represents 70,000 athletes in the areas of individual, recreational, team and rehabilitation sports in more than 600 clubs. The association does important work, because sport is a link that creates community, breaks down barriers, strengthens people's belief in their own abilities and self-confidence and gives them joy, energy and quality of life. Every year, teams whose players are intellectually impaired can take part in the HBRS Indoor Cup Football ID. This year, seven teams from all over Hesse competed against each other, with VfB 1900 Offenbach and its team winning the tournament in the end.
CRS medical was on site during the tournament in the hall in Münchholzhausen and presented the emergency backpack with all its functions to interested visitors. Nicolas Pauly explained, for example, that the backpack was designed together with sports physiotherapists to meet the requirements of a wide range of sports emergency situations. In addition to a sophisticated pocket concept for the necessary wound care material, any standard automated external defibrillator (AED) can be stowed in the CRS ResQ. The integrated viewing window provides a clear view of the AED display. The backpack is optimally protected from moisture and dirt by its robust, abrasion-resistant and water-repellent Cordura® material. The customizable Velcro patches can be used by clubs or companies to display their own logo.

Shortly before the award ceremony, Nicolas Pauly presented the CRS ResQ to Michael Trippel, sporting director of HBRS soccer. The partnership between CRS medical and the HBRS has existed since the beginning of 2021. At the start of the partnership, the association was equipped with an AED by CRS medical, which will now find its place in the CRS ResQ and can also accompany the HBRS to external events in the future. “We are delighted to have CRS medical as a partner at our side. Thanks to CRS medical, we are already equipped with an AED, although we naturally hope that it will never be used. With the professional CRS ResQ emergency backpack, we now have optimal care in the event of injuries. The emergency backpack will be used at the training camps of our state selection teams, the HBRS-Hessenliga match days, the HBRS soccer school and at tournaments. With this equipment, our medical department is ideally equipped for emergencies,” explains Michael Trippel.
