CRS medical donates 6 spots for the inclusive soccer camp at regional special schools
This week, CRS medical and its partner, the Hessian Disabled and Rehabilitation Sports Association (HBRS), presented the two specialist schools Martin-Buber-Schule in Giessen and Friedrich-Fröbel-Schule in Wetzlar with vouchers for each of three places at the soccer camp in Dorlar, worth a total of 594 euros. CRS medical is thus supporting the HBRS with its work and highlighting issues such as inclusion and integration.
Handicaps do not play a role in the HBRS soccer school's inclusive soccer camps. Young footballers with and without disabilities come together during the summer vacations, train with lots of fun and enthusiasm and experience unforgettable days of soccer together. The soccer camp at TSG Dorlar is sponsored by CRS medical, among others, and will take place from July 31 to August 2, 2023. The school management and those responsible at the Martin-Buber-Schule in Giessen and the Friedrich-Fröbel-Schule in Wetzlar were delighted with the donation and the opportunity for more of their pupils to take part in the already fully booked soccer camp in Dorlar. In addition to other events, the inclusive soccer camps are organized annually by the HBRS, for which children aged 6-18 can register during the summer vacations. Three days full of sport, fun and games, daily lunch, fruit and drinks await the children there.
The HBRS represents 70,000 active people in the areas of individual, recreational, team and rehabilitation sport in more than 600 clubs. The association does important work, because sport is a link that creates community, breaks down barriers, strengthens people's belief in their own abilities and self-confidence and gives them joy, energy and quality of life. The partnership between CRS medical and the HBRS has existed since the beginning of 2021, as the promotion of sporting achievements has been an integral part of CRS medical since the company was founded and it is a matter close to the company's heart to stand up for integration and inclusion. For this reason, the company deliberately chose the HBRS as its regional sports sponsorship partner. After all, sport in particular provides a good opportunity to learn mutual understanding and consideration. “It's great that the HBRS, with Michael Trippel as sports director, is organizing such events. When the donation voucher was handed over, you could see how much the children were already looking forward to taking part in the soccer camps during the summer vacations. The HBRS is thus making a very important contribution to our society,” says Juliane Frey, Director Digitalisation & Communication at CRS medical.
