The CRS FoIP Data Host Service provides 12-lead ECG transmission directly from the ambulance to the medical specialist. A modem card with Bluetooth® adapter is installed into the PCMCIA slot on ZOLL E Series®, M Series® or M Series® CCT. After entering the fax number into the operating panel of the defibrillator a local Internet connection will be automatically established via a standard cell phone (incl. Bluetooth® connectivity) and transmits the 12-lead data through the CRS Data Host onto the pre-programmed fax machine, e-mail address or web portal³. The CRS Data Host is the centralized backbone node transferring the ECG to its respective destination where the medical specialist can access immediately. With its various delivery options and its favorable price - CRS FoIP Service is an unique cost-effective transmission solution for the EMS marketplace.

From flat rate to itemized billing. CRS FoIP Data Host is available with three pricing models. Choose the adequate tariff according to your individual monthly transmission volume. Data Host implies that acquisition costs for a server and server operating are omitted as well as for maintenance, software, hardware and binding to other local IT resources.

The CRS Configuration Tool¹ is a web portal that allows accessing and maintaining all data at any time. You can edit settings such as e-mail addresses, cell phone numbers, authorized users etc.

Beyond the standard fax transmission CRS FoIP Data Host makes further delivery options available:

12-lead ECG is send to a certain e-mail address as attached PDF file.

12-lead ECG is send to a https: secured web page that can only be accessed by selected user login credentials.

12-lead ECG is send to a PDA.

Notification by a pre-defined cell phone as transmission report to sender OR to inform the medical specialist that an ECG needs to be reviewed.

12-lead ECG is send to KIS via DICOM

Customers with special requirements can use the intelligent ECG routing options.
For example: ECG transmission via fax to hospital from 8:00am to 6:00pm
ECG transmission via e-mail (e.g. to background duty) from 6:00pm to 8:00am
